Wine Club of Charlottesville
Since 1981 the Wine Club of Charlottesville has held educational tastings focusing on pairing wine with foods. The usual format is two to three flights of wine matched with several foods outside of a formal dinner venue. Wine makers, vineyard owners or importers often present their products or portfolio.
The $30 annual membership runs from September and is $20 after December, reflecting the heavy fall schedule. Joining at attending one's first event is typical. Each event is priced separately. Guests or non-members are welcomed and are charged a small additional fee. RSVP to wineclub@tastingsofcvile.com.

Tuesday, September 22nd - Claude Delfosse of Delfosse will lead us in a tasting of his portfolio.
Wednesday, September 30th - Dino Tantawi of Vignaioli Imports with an incredible array of whites and reds from Austria and Italy.
Tuesday, October 13th - The wines of Remoissenet with Pierre Rovani. Puligny Montrachet, Vosne Romanee' Gevry Chambertin etc.
Monday, October 26th - The return of Eric Bonnet from Bastide St. Dominique with Chateauneuf du Papes, Liracs, Cotes du Rhone etc.
Tuesday,October 27th - Pascal Fritsch from Kietzheim in Alsace. An exciting portfolio of vibrant Alsatian wines.
Monday, November 30th - Our annual Champagne tasting.
